Tim serves as President of Fishers of Men (FOM). Tim is a Regional Vice President at Primerica, where he leads a team of top financial professionals. Tim connected with Fishers of Men in 2008 and quickly began to invest his leadership and people skills, working with the FOM organization to help men grow in Jesus. Tim's desire is for every Catholic man to be better equipped as Godly husbands, fathers, and positive influences in their community. Tim, his wife Amy, and their two daughters live in Joliet where they are active parishioners of the Cathedral of St. Raymond in Joliet.
Mike Cemeno - Founder VP Outreach
Mike is the Founder of Fishers of Men and serves as the Vice President of Outreach. He is a sales associate at Darcy Motors and for Agency Services, which provides health and life insurance products. Mike got the vision for creating the FOM ministry after attending a Walk the Talk men’s conference in 1998. His growing passion since that time has been to help bring men into a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. He travels throughout the Joliet Diocese visiting and helping to form parish men’s groups. Mike, his wife Joy and their five children are active parishioners of Holy Family Church in Shorewood.
Greg Rodriquez - Treasurer
Greg serves as Treasurer for Fishers of Men, and is involved in Chicago Christian Counseling based out of Orland Park. Greg first connected with Fishers of Men at the onset in 1998, meeting with Mike Cemeno and identifying with Mike’s vision for the FOM ministry. His passion is to equip men to become true disciples through spiritual transformation; and to help them take their love for Jesus into every day practical behavior through education and training programs. Greg and his wife Joanne are active parishioners of St. Mary’s Church in Plainfield. Greg also helps in the formation of men’s groups of other parishes.
Brian Bergmann - Secretary
Brian serves as Secretary of the Fishers of Men (FOM) Board of Directors. He is a Cycle Outage Manager at Exelon's Braidwood Nuclear Station. Brian's goal is to help improve communication and distribution of faith related resources to parishes and their men's groups throughout the Joliet diocese. Brian joins fellow men's groups, ensuring they are aware of options available to enhance and supplement their meetings. Brian, his wife Wendy, and their four children live in Shorewood, Illinois and are active parishioners of St Jude's Church in Joliet.
Mike Lennon - Executive Director
Mike Lennon serves as Executive Director for Fishers of Men (FOM). Mike has more than 30 years of experience in building and working with over 100 non-profits across the country, including groups focused on ministry to men. Mike is helping FOM to transition from an all-volunteer group by building an organizational infrastructure with a focus on leadership development, expansion and fundraising. Mike’s experience in the nonprofit world and his passion for God’s work in the hearts of men is what motivates his work. He is a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Morris where he leads the Men’s Bible Study at the parish.
Fr. Burke Masters - Spiritual Advisor
Father Burke was ordained in 2002 and serves as the Spiritual Advisor for Fishers of Men. He is the Vocational Director for the Diocese of Joliet and Chaplin for the Chicago Cubs. After a stellar baseball career at Providence Catholic High School, Fr. Burke played in the 1990 College World Series with Mississippi State University. At the age of 30 he felt called to the priesthood, and now he encourages young men and women to lay down their lives for Christ. Father has a passion for Fishers of Men in hopes that all men would know the vocation to which God has called them, and to live it to His glory and to the benefit of family and community life.
